I recently decided to use Outlook 2003 (I usually use Outlook Express). This
is for my personal use at home. I have entered my email accounts correctly and imported mail and addresses etc. I am able to send and receive email. My query is that when I am offline and then open Office it does not connect automatically. A box comes up with my Tiscali Broadband details that prompts me to click 'Dial' to connect. I would prefer it if it would dial automatically (like most programs). I have searched through various Tools etc but can't seem to rectify this. Can anyone help???? -- Diane |

Obviously setting to Off Line will not connect automatically. You do understand the term "Off Line"

Click Change, then More Settings, then the Connection tab. Select the radio button labeled Connect using my local area network (LAN). Then let Windows handle the network connection. -- Brian Tillman |
