8050800c Error on ALLXP fully patched SP2 workstations

Of three machines installed today, NONE will complete a scan
All give 8050800c error at the same file on each machine, full or quick scan.
On one machine it is wowexec, another Notepad.exe and the last dvdplay.exe

There is no snsible google on this number
