They have a good handle on this one, look for it to go away after a future
update.

Default RE: Error message when the "Start Scan" button is clicked
Open windows defender, use the SCAN button instead of the START SCAN.This
will get rid of the error message plus the icon in the taskbar.

I tried that and still came up with the same error. I am trying it again with
out closing the app. We will see what happens.
