win2003outlook to winxp?

I used to have windows 2003 but now i've installed windows xp. I tried to
open my outlook and my contacts are gone! I have a back-up but it only opens
in a safe mode. What do I have to do to syncronise my contacts? Please help.

When you say outlook, is it outlook express which is part of Windows or
outlook 200? which is part of Office.

I would recommend asking the experts in the outlook newsgroups. This is not
a FrontPage issue.
