Keep loosing the connection between win2000 server and xp pro pcs

Keep loosing the connection between win2000 server and xp pro pcs. When I
look in the servers event viewer it says that the PC tryed to connect using
the tust relationship established by the server, however the computer lost
its security ID when the domain was reconfigured (SID).

when was the domain reconfigured? this is a random even as a pc can lose the
relationship in one minute or a week later??

who do I fix this annoying problem??
