Default Users Accessing files under XP pro

On my PC if I create a text file as an administrator then try to edit it
as a user I cannot overwrite the file. On another PC the user can. Is
this some overall system setting??

Thanks

The user would need at least write or maybe modify permissions to the file.
Compare NTFS permissions on that file on each computer and I bet there is a
difference. --- Steve
