If you're referring to items which have been unchecked but still appear on the Startup page of msconfig, you can do the following to remove them: Start the Registry Editor. Navigate to this location, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg Delete any subfolders. Do the same for this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupfolder If you want, a script is available that will do this automatically: Courtesy of Kelly Theriot, MS-MVP Line 148, right hand column Clear Disabled Items from Msconfig Startup and Selective http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Good luck Nepatsfan |
