My Outlook calendar (stand alone--not over the internet or on an exchange
server) is very full from many years of use and recurring items that have multiplied inappropriately and what I want to do is delete my entire Office suite (I've backed up contacts, tasks, and email .pst files to re-use them) and install a brand new version of Office 2003 that I just got. After I remove the program from Add\Remove programs and go into the c: drive and remove the MS Office folder, then reboot and re-install a fresh MS Office, it installs OK and when I open OUtlook all my emails and calendar are still there--and I want it gone so I can have a fresh calendar and can reinstall my old emails and folders and tasks and contacts. Thanks. -- Thanks, JG |

tools, email accounts, view or change accounts - click the button to make a
new data store, then set it as the default. You can remove the old one from your profile by righting on it and choosing Close, after you restart outlook. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM "JG" <JG@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6C1027D7-AAFF-4263-BE46-12FB82CC8D6F@microsoft.com... > My Outlook calendar (stand alone--not over the internet or on an exchange > server) is very full from many years of use and recurring items that have > multiplied inappropriately and what I want to do is delete my entire > Office > suite (I've backed up contacts, tasks, and email .pst files to re-use > them) > and install a brand new version of Office 2003 that I just got.
