Hi,
I've created a new template based on "setup security.inf" for the NTFS security. When I apply this template with secedit, no problem. But when I see the result of the NTFS security on the drive, it is not good every where. So I've done an analyze of the NTFS security with the correct snap-in under the mmc. The result give me the drive C: and some others directory with a red cross. If I look the column "Autorization", I have "Look for" in front of the red cross instead of "Not analyzed" or something else. In the column called "Incorrect values", I have different values in front of the red cross instead of 0. I'm workin for a compagny with 1300 computers and users are not admins of the computers. So, I have to change NTFS security automatically. Can you help me ? Thank you |

Possibly there are files/folders that in the folder that are not included in
the security template or inheritance is not configured correctly? --- Steve "Fatiha" <Fatiha@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:483BE74F-5D85-4342-A6FC-6E4D2E773200@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > I've created a new template based on "setup security.inf" for the NTFS > security.
