Default Default User Profile or Group Policy???

I have some Windows XP Pro systems in the Windows 2000 domain environment.
Now I want everyone login these Windows XP Pro systems with same background
and desktop setting and lock those setting. I already use group policy to so
this successfully. However, I can't pre-set the power settings for those
user such as how long the system go to stand-by mode, how long should turn
off the monitor or lock the system after resume by stand-by mode. For some
reasons, I want the system never go to stand-by mode or hibernate and the
monitor turn off after 30 mins.

I have not tried it myself but there is a free Group Policy addon called EZ
GPO that may be of interest to you as shown in the link below. --- Steve
