Hi:
The hard drive on my Toshiba laptop just died completely and unexpectedly. I bought another drive but now I can't find the Windows XP install disk(s) that came with the original. What can I do? The computer is not under warrantee any more. Thanks! |

You'll need to purchase a new copy of Windows XP
unless you can contact Toshiba and order their own version of Windows XP which will only work with the Toshiba issued Product key. Example: Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2 - OEM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16837102059 -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Microsoft Community Newsgroups news://msnews.microsoft.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Julian Smith" wrote: | Hi: | | The hard drive on my Toshiba laptop just died completely and | unexpectedly.
