Default Sysprep + SATA RAID + Failure at Mini-Setup

Hello All,

Currently I am trying to setup a moderate field deployment to convert boxes
over to Win XP in the field. There are 2 types of workstations using
different SATA RAID controllers. I have setup the Sysprep to detect a UPHAL
and to modify it if necessary (i.e.i ACPI UP or HT not enabled) since there
are dual processor boxes or hyperthreaded boxes in the field. I setup my
sysprep.inf to include the SATA RAID drivers in the BUILDMASSSTORAGE section
and after sysprepping a box to take a snapshot, when the machine restarted,
it ran Mini-Setup as far as selecting a Computer Name, then once that was
entered, the machine rebooted and refuses to further continue setup.

I don't believe it is a HAL issue because I *CAN* boot into Safe Mode, but
it will not run Setup there. I *CAN* see it loading the correct *.SYS file
for the SATA RAID Mass Storage Controller. I can only surmise a device driver
is causing the issue, but I cannot get an error message or blue screen code
to further troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Has anyone ever seen this or something similar and what steps can I take
from here to resolve this? I desperately need to have this image work within
2 weeks.

Thanks in advance!
