RCP

I have 2 PC's, the ICS host already connect to cable internet modem (using NIC
and sharing the internet with the other one through switch

I always got "error mesage from RCP and it will shutdown in 1 minute"

What's wrong with my setting, plese help.... thank

My Configuration
ICS Host P4-2.6 GHZ, 512RAM, 2 NICs, WinXP Home
ICS Client P3-600Mhz, 128RAM, 1 NIC, WinXP Home
Modem Cable Motorola SB50
Switch 10/10

Your machine infected with Blaster worm, or one of it's variants due to
ineffectual firewall and/or not getting the required updates ... one for
Blaster released last summer. see www.microsoft.com/blaster for info
and links.

Your computer is now infected with the W32.Blaster.Worm or
one of its variants. This happened because you have not
been using an internet connection firewall and have
apparently neglected to install the critical updates
available at the Windows Update website.

If your computer is constantly attempting to shutdown
or reboot, quickly go to:

Start > Run and type: CMD , and hit enter.
This opens the Command Prompt window.

Then type: shutdown -a , and hit enter.

This should halt the rebooting problem.

Then immediately turn-on Windows XP's built-in Firewall:

Control Panel, double-click Networking and Internet
Connections, then click Network Connections. Right-click
your connection, then
Click Properties, and on the Advanced tab, click the option
"Protect my computer and network..." Note: the built in

spyware, trojans, etc.. you may have on your system).)

Special note if you use AOL:
America Online installs its own connection settings that
override
the ones that come with Windows XP. America Online's
connection settings don't include a way to turn on Windows
XP's
built-in firewall.

You may find that Blaster is shutting down the computer before you can get online and download the security patch
If this is the case, follow these steps to stop this from occurring..

Start the computer. Use the CTRL-ALT-DEL keystroke to bring up the Security window. Click the "Task Manager" button.
In the Task Manager window, click the "Processes" tab.
Search for, and highlight the process, "MSBLAST.EXE" and click the "End Process" button. Terminate the process.
Close the Task Manager window
From the Start Menu, choose Control Panel, then click "Network and Internet Connections" to view your "Network Connections."
Right-Click the Dial-Up or Network connection you wish to protect, and choose "Properties"
Click the "Advanced" tab and select the "Protect my computer…" check box, then click "OK
