Can you PING a remote host by IP address? Try PINGing the DNS server listed
by your ISP. If so, you issue is with name resolution. <emotf@netzero.net> wrote in message news:2154B332-5157-445C-8CFE-9AC0EEE1C1DA@microsoft.com... > i have a laptop with a network card already installed....when i connect my cable modem my laptop sees the connection at 100 MPS and when you click on status of that connection the send and recieve numbers are increasing but when i click on internet explorer i get the blank page unable to find server i have had this connected to a cable modem in the past and it worked great that was a few months ago. |
