OK FP'ers... another slideshow dilemma!
My FP2003 works in every way on my desktop system. On my laptop, however, when I attempt to do a slide show, after selecting images, etc. then clicking on OK it shows the progress bar max out... then nothing happens; it just stays maxed-out without generating my slideshow. Even the cancel button no longer works; I can only "X" out the progress indicator. This only happens on slideshow, not any other photo gallery type. I've tried everything from repairing FP to uninstalling and re-installing (complete install) to no avail. This is the exact same copy of FP as on my desktop (I have 5 licenses) as well as the same OS, etc. Could there be a configuration difference I'm unaware of? Or some other hardware or software interfering with FP? Thanks for your input. |

Are your slideshow images imported / contained within your web??
Everything your web uses needs to be "inside" of the web. -- Steve Easton Microsoft MVP FrontPage 95isalive This site is best viewed............ ........................with a computer "David" <David@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:23B2A0C5-45F7-45DA-8A76-2A25B3DFD38F@microsoft.com... > OK FP'ers... another slideshow dilemma! > My FP2003 works in every way on my desktop system. Yes... everything is contained in the web.
When I put the page I was working on with my laptop onto my desktop computer I had no trouble inserting the slideshow. It only seems to be my laptop that has the problem. Since I do a lot of work on my laptop this is disconcerting.
