Default 6600Gt in SLI

My second graphics card will be here tomorrow . So am putting it alongside my other 6600GT in SLi mode.. How or in what way will it be optimized ..gaming wise ..does it really pay to have 2 in tandem ?? or should i have just stuck to 1.

Dunno, you'll have to tell us ...

I recent got a 939 SLi system ... and I cannot tell if there is any real "wow" in it compared to my old 2500 Skt A

Maybe I should put Windows on it ...

Naw, I'm happy enough with it.

Nup, you will have to give us all the low & high of it all ... write-up a mini review for us.

if you like high resolutions then you'll like having the extra card, it will aslo give you the chance to run max AA and AF for a better picture quality

Maybe i should have bought a 7800GT and not got 2*6600GT , but for 2 6600GT,s for £120 and 1*7800GT for £200 maybe not.

Watch this space....

I'm pretty sure the 6600 gt in sli, was slightly underperforming the 6800 gt, if not then the ultra. However, the 7800 - alone - beats the 6800 ultra in sli.

7800gt is an astonishing card, and to buy a 7800gtx over a gt (value for money-wise) is madness. You can get a stock 7800gt for £200, whereas a stock 7800gtx is more like £300, and in my book that is not worth it.

however for a while at least, the performance crown lies with ati, with the x1900xtx. however that is £500, the x1900 xt being £350-ish, which is a ridiculous amount of money for a video card.
