Default cant import video ~please help!~


am trying to import a .wmv file into windows movie maker but an error keeps
popping up saying:

___.WMV IS NOT INDEXED AND CANNOT BE IMPORTED

what does this mean?
i can usually import video files fine...

i done what you said but the file still wouldnt even save from windows media
file editor for it to be indexed

Try using Windows Media Encoder instead of Windows File Editor.
