Default adware

Apparently an adware program was bundled with a program downloaded by my
daughter. Although pop-up blockers prevent the constant annoyance, it seems
to slow the computer immensely. Can I safely download the bestoffers
uninstall which I am referred to when trying to uninstall it using Windows-
Add or Remove Programs.

Default RE: adware

In my experience that usually will uninstall the selected program but will
install something else in the backgroud.

I would suggest downloading the Microsoft Maliscious Spyware Removal Tool,
download the updates and run.

Also you can use Spybot (from www.download.com for free) to assist in
removing this internet trash software as well.

Good Luck,
Christa

Christa O., I downloaded and ran the Microsoft AntiSpyware program. It
completely cured my computer. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
