"Don V

I am having a problem saving moves to CD. From Movie maker it will not save
directly to CD. I have to save to the hard drive, My Videos, and then import
the movie back to Movie Maker. It will then copy to a CD. Is their a way to
correct this problem.

in the file listing "my Computer" is simply the heading for all the drives
and locations on your computer. you need to save the movie in a more
specific location (i.e. c: drive or My Documents...)

Exactly. Thanks KDE I missed that part originally.
If you click the "Up one level" icon (it is a little yellow folder with a
green up arrow) and that will take you to the desktop. You can save on the
desktop if you want but I suggest instead that you click on "My Documents"
and save there instead.

Okay, I saved the movie in "My Documents", now what? How do I save it on a
CD or DVD and open it in Windows Media Player. Thanks for helping me with
this.

If all you want to do is play the movie in Windows media player there is no
need to save it to a disk, simply open up "My Documents" (there is probably
an Icon on your desktop, or on your "start" menu) find the movie name in
"my Documents" and double click the file name. It will open in windows
media player.
If you want to save it on a CD to archive, or share with friends, then you
will need to place a blank CD in your computers CD tray (assuming your PC
can burn CD's). locate the file again and "Right-Click" on the file, select
"send to" and then the CD drive, the computer should take over from there
and walk you through burning the CD. burning a DVD is much more complicated
and would involve special software usually provided along with your DVD
burner.
