I am ready to buy a DVD burner and I am more interested in the software than
the speed. I will only burn a dvd about once every other month. I noticed in this forum that Nero seems to be one of the favorites but Nero Vision Express is better than Nero Express. As I look at the dvd burners a lot of them say they have Nero OEM. I know OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer but does anybody know if the OEM includes the Vision Express? While I'm here, does anybody recommend a burner? I prefer inexpensive, burns a high quality discs, and has sufficient software. Thanks in advance for any help. |

You could do a Google search on DVD burners and see if there are any
reviews. Check my website (DVD Creation section) for a list of some of the most
popular programs along with info and links to download. Nero Vision Express is PART of Nero, it is the program used for DVD Authoring so to say "Nero Vision Express is better than Nero Express" isn't really accurate. -- Wojo -------------------- Wojo's Web: http://www.remember-christopher.dostweb.com/Wojos_web/ "jeffbegin" <jeffbegin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6123A009-4D04-447D-9B31-CA5F260F2ACE@microsoft.com... >I am ready to buy a DVD burner and I am more interested in the software >than > the speed. Look at Wojo's website. I am where you are now. I have Nero Express 6 OEM. I
can't burn a DVD with it. I'm about to download the newer version of Nero Express and am still trying to figure out if NeroVision Express comes with it or if it's a plug in I have to pay extra for. I know Wojo, I'm a little slow. Depending on your Nero Express Version, you may be able to download the plug in or try the Free Trial version of the newest Nero, which I'm not sure will burn a DVD either until you pay for it. I like Nero Express 6 though and for a short time I had the Nero Vision Express too, but my hard drive failed and I'm hoping thru Ahead Software to get to download that plugin again. I was able to burn one DVD before my hard drive crashed. Good luck to you, this video creating is addicting. Your not slow I just wasn't quite sure where you were at currently. I wasn't
sure which messages and/or posts were sent when. The free trial of Nero doesn't include Nero Vision Express. If you want to use Nero to author a DVD for you then you need to purchase the full version for $79.99. You don't need any special plug-in to use Nero to create DVD's but you may need to download a WMV plug-in so that it will import WMV's now I bought the full version of Nero 6 and of Nero 7 and neither time did I need to download the WMV plug-in but others have needed to so I can't say if you will or not. Hope that clears it up a bit for you. ![]() -- Wojo -------------------- Wojo's Web: http://www.remember-christopher.dostweb.com/Wojos_web/ "Oceana Rose" <OceanaRose@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news AB39785-FD86-4E90-AAB7-241DEF81A481@microsoft.com...> Look at Wojo's website. I downloaded the new Nero7 and burned to a DVD. It worked great and has
features that I want to try now. It was seamless for me. Oceana Rose "jeffbegin" wrote: > I am ready to buy a DVD burner and I am more interested in the software than > the speed.
