Default Upgrade license

Hi-

IS there a way to move over your license's from a windows 2000 server over
to a server 2003 server?

Or do I have to purchase new 2003 licenses?

Thanks!

Default Re: Upgrade license

Yes, you can "move" your W2K TS CALs to a 2003 TS Licensing Server
(by using the phone method, calling the Clearinghouse and get them
re-issued).

BUT: if you have upgraded your Terminal Server to 2003, this won't
help you, since every device or user connecting to a 2003 TS needs a
2003 TS CAL.

If that's your situation, you either have to upgrade your W2K TS CALs
to 2003 TS CALs (if you have Software Assurance bought for them), or
buy new 2003 TS CALs.
