I can receive email but cannot send, I get this error message
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Protocol SMPT Port 25 Secure (SSL) Error # 0X800ccc0F -- escort00 |

One possibility is that OE mangled a message with a bare LF.
Even though only one of these messages might be bad OE will not send ANY if the first one it tries is bad. Look in your outbox and delete the oldest file there then try to send - repeat with each newer file (I'm assuming that the oldest file is the one that started the whole mess, but this isn't necessaily the case if you had other files in the outbox when badness started. ) PS 1.This might not be the problem at all 2. You could also just delete all outbox files at once if you like HTH |
