Movie Maker hangs at 71% of either saving to disk or saving to CD. Final
size calculated is ~320MB but Movie Maker hangs before completing the file. I saving the default configuration and I've also tried lower resolution but it still hangs. No messages reported back. I had no problems with the capture and editing portion of Movie Maker. |

Could be a problem with a video, still image, or audio file part way thorugh
the movie. What types of files (extensions) are in your project? The project file is .MSWMM
The project is made up from 2 videos, both capture by Movie Maker, with .wmv extensions. Each of the two videos are comprised of mulitple clips, segmented automatically by Movie Maker. Ok then it shouldn't be a compatibility problem.
You used the autoclip "feature" of Movie Maker. Did you put transitions between these clips? If not and you have them in the same order as they were on the camera then all the ones that are in order between transitions can be selected. Then right click and click combine. That will put the clips together as one and make your project less complex. If there are transitions between them it could be that you have a project that is too large for your computers resources. See the How to split a movie page on my website in the Movie Maker section. Splitting the movie into segments may do the trick. -Wojo -- Wojo's Web: http://www.remember-christopher.dostweb.com/Wojos_web/ Also Please visit..... http://www.remember-christopher.dos...om/christopher/ "Chris" <info@cgmeng.com> wrote in message news:1D08599E-D72C-46BF-ACE9-5B2A66830A90@microsoft.com... > The project file is .MSWMM > The project is made up from 2 videos, both capture by Movie Maker, with > .wmv > extensions.
