Default AutoComplete name suggesting is turned on but isn't working . . .

In Advanced E-mail Options the check box labeled "Suggest names while
completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields" is checked but Outlook does not suggest
any names from my contact list when I am typing names in the To box of a new
e-mail message

That's because autocompletion has nothing to do with your Contacts.
It uses a cache of names from previously sent messages.
