Thanks for the help, I did try one at a time, and finally deleted my old
profile and started over completely....works fine now. I should note that my Hotmail is one of the old free ones, and I believe taht they have "grandfathered them" Thanks again. I just reinstalled Outlook 2003 and am getting the same type of error
message, "object not found" when trying to send. My account is not with hotmail and I have confirmed the outging mail smtp server name. I also get the message whenever I try and try and forward more than 1 e-mail
at a time. I used to be able to select multiple e-mails and click forward and they would all come up in a new e-mail. Any help much appreciated "NC Smitty" wrote: > I just reinstalled Outlook 2003 and am getting the same type of error > message, "object not found" when trying to send. I am having this problem with setting up my Outlook 2007 on Vista. Getting
same message. Tried deleting profile and creating new one, but still same problem..."Operation Failed. Object not found....message." I have checked the settings and they are fine and are the same as my XP desktop. When I run the test settings on the Vista, it says it works fine, but it is not letting me send/receive messages...I just get the same old message "Operation Failed....Object not found." Please help. I am getting frustrated.
