After I upgradet from OL 2K to OL 2003 I imported the .pst file and
everything seemed to have worked properly. The distributionlists are present but empty! Does anyone has an idea what I can do now? Thanks! |

Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. DL's are among
the data you lose when you do. Do you backup your data? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Thomas" <Thomas@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2EC26999-EAFA-4F6E-BF00-9A54F05B87BE@microsoft.com... > After I upgradet from OL 2K to OL 2003 I imported the .pst file and > everything seemed to have worked properly. The distributionlists are present > but empty! > Does anyone has an idea what I can do now? > Thanks! |

Thank you for your answer, yes I do backups.
Am I right that you don't mean .pst backups? "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: > Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. If so, in Outlook click FiIle>Open>Outlook Data File, browse to that PST, select it, and click OK. You'll now have access to all the data it contains, including the DLs. Drag-and-drop them to the Contacts folder. Never import a PST. -- Brian Tillman |
