I have a user who is unable to open one particular calendar item to delete
it. She is running Outlook 2000 with SP3. This calendar item is marked private and she cannot remove the private marking either. When double clicks on the calendar item gives her "The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead. The object could not be found.". Funny thing is, the user does have any custom forms and all other calendar items can opened, edited and deleted w/o issue. So far we've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook to no avail, opened up a cmd window and tried using the Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy and /cleanreminders switches, w/o luck. Also, when user access her mail via OWA the problematic calendar item is not listed at all. Any ideas? |

From what I've seen on this, the mailbox is corrupt and this error might
spread to other meetings. Fix is to export entries to a PST - delete the mailbox - create a new one - import PST entries. I consider this last resort. maybe someone else will have a less drastic solution. "kage13" wrote: > I have a user who is unable to open one particular calendar item to delete > it.
