I have a Sont PC110 Camcorder. I have tried to use DVGate Plus, Moviemaker,
and Click to DVD to recognize and record video feed using the analog in plugs on the front of the computer. No Luck. Do I need a firewire? If so, whhat are the analog in plugs for? I thought this would be easier..... |

If it's an analog camcorder, then you'll need a Video IN port on the PC or
an analog capture card or a VIVO capable graphics card. MovieMaker doesn't really like analog video, something like Cyberlink's PowerDirector or Intervideo's WinDVD Creator are both good editors, as are Nero's NeroVision and Roxio's VideoWave. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Craig" <Craig@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CF7A5F0D-41BD-454B-8CE1-994ACABFC57B@microsoft.com... >I have a Sont PC110 Camcorder. Hi Craig
To capture video into your computer, you do need a Firewire cable and card. Its pretty simple - its just that sometimes people get Firewire and USB all confused. Please read the following article to understand how to do it correctly: http://www.desktop-video-guide.com/capture-video.html "Craig" wrote: > I have a Sont PC110 Camcorder.
