What other programs can?

There are no other programs that lock text ... dreamweaver and FrontPage 03 can both use dwt .. if your not talking about that what are you talking about? Tina NEW FRONTPAGE TIPS Ebook - Volume Two. Thank you, I will look into "encasing in editable regions" I have found that
my website would distort if a browser was set at a different text size. But, I have since opened other people's websites and they were not effected by Text Size changes. Even Yahoo the layout would grow with the text, guessing that's some for of the % sizing deal. Since learning that my webpage distortions come from many the text changing
sizes in different browser window TEXT SIZE listings. I have found some of my most frequented sites appear not to be affected when I change the TEXT Size setting. I want to be able to do that with FP, and this is how I came to my conclusion since I was told the other day on my post that it can not be done. Another now has responed talking about "Editable regions" I have seen the term, would you agree that's my next area to learn to solve my text changing sizes? Michaelangelo "Thomas A. This is not a FP issue...
IE give the appearance that you can have a site where the text size can not be changed, however visit one of those sites in IE, then go to Tools | Internet Options | Accessibility button and you we see the you can change the size of the text, unless the text is part of a image. Using a DWT has no impact on text size control. -- ============================================== Thomas A. Or visit one in any other modern browser, and you don't need to reset any
options - Safari, FireFox, Mozilla, NN, Opera all can resize text willy-nilly.... You wouldn't believe how many sites break when you do this. -- Murray ============ "Thomas A. You misunderstand what I meant about DWT and editable regions ... I was merely guessing that you might mean your meta tags were being overwritten... but this is not what your talking about so that thread has no bearing on your problem. You can configure your formatting with CSS .. but you don't want to Lock the size of the text ... otherwise your site might not be accessible or even readable to all depending on your notion of what size you want the text to be .... not everyone's eyesight is the same as yours ... many need to make text larger just to read the page. When my dad visits I enlarge the text if we are working on something together so he can read it. Layout wise you can sort that problem by using percentage on tables so that the site is fluid and expands and contracts with the resolution of the browser window.. the lowest size to design for in general terms is 800x600.
