Open Office question

I just dl'd and installed OOo, and I'm left with a couple of questions.
First, a file called 'installation files' was created and not cleaned up,
do I delete that? And second, it appears that all the old 1.7.9 files
were duplicated with the new installation of 2.0 - should I have deleted
1.7.9 first?
