I've made up a number of CD compilations over the years of favorite
pieces from various commercial CDs. I just bought an MP3 player, and want to convert these home-mades to MP3 files. I'll have to add the names manually, so CDDB support isn't an issue. Nor is burning capability. Is there some program that will allow me to rip all the songs on a CD, convert them to MP3s, and put them in a file where I can choose which ones I want to transfer to the player? I checked Google for threads in this group, but most of the programs mentioned do a lot more than I actually need. Thanks in advance. Regis |

Exact Audio Copy is simply the best: http://www.exactaudiocopy.org/ Use it in conjunction with lame.exe v3.97 beta 2 and -V2 --vbr-new setting. You'll have the best mp3 quality for your music. -- Henry The Mole. _________________________________ The Mole Zone: www.themolezone.net remove EHILABEPPE to e-mail me |

Here you can find lame.exe 3.97 beta 2: http://www.rarewares.org/mp3.html This version is the one that gives you best results in mp3 encoding at the moment. Kindly regards. -- Henry The Mole. _________________________________ The Mole Zone: www.themolezone.net remove EHILABEPPE to e-mail me |
