Yahoo Widgets SLOW ???

I have been using konfabulator for months - it's a really cool little
desktop utility.

But it has now been bought by Yahoo... so I changed to Yahoo version and
downloaded the nice Day Planner widget...just today..

But it is INCREDIBLY slow.... !! yes I know I am using a 600Mhz PC ..

.... but does anyone else find this widget ridiculously slow ??
