Default closing mdiChild form


I have an Form (MDI Parent) with a menu that opens another form (MDI
child). After opening the child I disabled the menu item on the Parent
so users can't open another instance. What I want to happen is when the
users close the child I want the menu item on the parent to be enabled
again. How do I get the child on closing to let the parent know that
it's closed?
