Yes, it's possible. The problem is that if you do that, and the visitor
then clicks the back button on the browser, only the most recent frame change will revert. Now your frameset is out of synch. This is one of the many reasons that frames are rarely the optimal layout choice. Are you sure you need to use them? -- Murray ============ "Roopa" <Roopa@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A3813730-1CE1-496A-A293-ADD49D918449@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > I want to how to load two different pages into two different frames with > one > click of a button.. I dunno if FP has a behavior to do it. Dreamweaver does it this way -
<script type="text/JavaScript"> <!-- function MM_goToURL() { //v3.0 var i, args=MM_goToURL.arguments; document.MM_returnValue = false; for (i=0; i<(args.length-1); i+=2) eval(args[i]+".location='"+args[i+1]+"'"); } //--> </script> (that goes in the head of the page) <a href="#" onClick="MM_goToURL('parent.frames[\'mainFrame\']','page1.html','parent.frames[\'bottomFrame\']','page2.html');return document.MM_returnValue">Link</a> (that is an example link in the body - assuming you have two frames named "mainFrame" and "bottomFrame") -- Murray ============ "Roopa" <Roopa@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news AD5C044-8BE3-494F-AB09-015E53BC2F52@microsoft.com...> Thanks and I think I'd like to give a try and check.. how is it done ?
