move lics to new server

Hi,

At work the old server has seen it's best days. We are swapping it out with
a new box using the same 2k server lic. We use wyse terminals and have 8
user lics on the old server.

We want to transfer our 8 termininal lics to the new server, however the
accnt lost the paperwork that came with the lics. Will also be buying 10
more lics.

Is there any way to transfer the lics??

The only way to transfer TS CALs to a new TS Licensing Server is by
phoning the Clearinghouse and get your licenses re-issued. They
will need the authorization numbers of licenses you bought, though.
Your reseller might these in their records.

Thanks for the tip, I phoned ms and got the number for clearing house. I
will phone them when the old server is down, and the new server is up.
