How to make progress bar go back and forth?

I have a situation where I dont know when a call ends. I would like to
display a progressbar where the green indicator goes back and forth as used
in many applications.

I cant find any information explaining how to do this. I use .Net 1.1

Do you know how?

make a animated gif and let it run in a PictureBox... that's the easiest way
I can think off.
