I bought some Akasa UV reactive S-ATA cables for my HDD's the other day, only a couple quid each, have to say i am well impressed.
Only thing is, the ends are right angled, the wrong way - so the wire points 90 degrees UP...not down! Still work though! See pics ![]()

looks sweet
just got some of the regular IDE cables for my new build, cant fault the quality and the rounded cable sure will help instead of a two inch wide ribbon cable 'wind break' |

I hate ribbons, they are so damn difficult to work with.
If im building even the CHEAPEST of systems for a customer, i still use rounded cables. And never an IDE hard drive either.

yeah im not a fan of IDE HDs either, just got to grin and bear it for now... but luckily my new boards got SATA RAID!
