can't transfer files via msn

Default can't transfer files via msn


hi, got a system which is slow in receiving files. and when reach the end of
the transfer, the transfer stopped with 'error in transfer'. pls help.

Greetings,

Usually when it crashes you'll see a more exact message in the actual conversation window --
since it's happening near the end of the transfer, you could be running out of disk space or
something similar.

Hi Jonathan,

Its a relatively new laptop.... and this only happens for certain file
extensions only. gif seems ok. could that be some settings in msn or window
messenger that blocks certain file extensions? or due to router or firewall
in that environment?

Zip the file or simply change the extension and see what you get - ex.
file.exe.txt
