disk cleanup and disk defragmenter

am going crazy over here.i have windows xp.you know how you can go into
control panel -performance maintenace ) to access your disk cleanup and disk
defragmenter, well it was working fine,i used it almost evertime i used my
computer,any way yesterday i tried to do, it same route i always used but
this time disk cleanup or disk defragmenter was'nt there.i know you can also
access them by going though start - all programs - accessories. now i did
that disk defragmenter it come up all blue like i dont have anything to
defrag. disk cleanup would pop up but nothing is in the box (files to
delete). I don't know what i did but please tell me you can help also i tried
system restore it wont let me restore to any date.

Have you installed any new apps/drivers since the problem started? Try
typing the following from Start>Run to see if either/both of those apps.
will run:

Disk Cleanup - cleanmgr.exe
Defrag - dfrg.msc

i can get the disk cleanup to run but theres nothing in the box complete
emety so i cant check delete tep delete anything. if theres no way to fix
this is it posable to download it again or something please help thanks

THAT WORKED BUT ALL THE OPTION ARE NOT THERE ONLY THREE. AND IS IT ANYWAY I
CAN GET IT BACK TO PROFROMANCE & MAINTENANCE.
