BIG bang and blue flash... then deadness... I needed to get in my case to reposition a cathode as it had come un-stuck, not worth turning PC off for, but the fan on the side is plugged through the DVD writer, so i figured as thats not essential to the running of the system i could unplug it and then plug it in on the fly - i have done this many a time before with no problems at all. Guess i was wrong!!
