I've used WMM to make three videos and I never had a problem before.
Recently, I dragged some clips to the storyboard (as well as the song, effects, etc.) when I tried to play them in the order I picked, this message comes up:- :"One or more arguments are invalid". I don't know what this could mean, nor do I know of any ways to solve it. Could someone please explain some method of fixing this problem? Thanks for your time. |

That would normally be an indicator of either a bad clip or an unsupported
clip. You could try deleting them one at a time to see which one, if any, is causing the problem. That's the weird part.. I tested them before and they play perfectly fine. It
is only when I add them to the storyboard, that's when I get that message. I don't know what else to do. They're .avi files, by the way. The song is an avi as well?
Are they dv-avi? Or maybe a compressed avi like divx, which isn't supported by MM? How did you test them? If in MM and they worked, have you changed the pc system since then, by adding any codecs etc? If tested outside of MM, this doesn't help, as it's not a proper test. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Jk4eva" <Jk4eva@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C2511080-4F32-44C1-BEEA-C5938AABFFB2@microsoft.com... > That's the weird part.. The song is an mp3. Uh.. how do I know if it is dv-avi? I tested them by
playing them in Windows Media player and they can even play in MM, except when they're in storyboard. Come to think of it.. I did add some new codecs recently because I had problems with audio. Maybe that has something to do with it? If I remove them, will it help? Removing the codecs "could" help, and it's easy enough to simply disable
them and see what happens. I think Graham is on the right track here though since AVI is an extension associated with quite a few different types of files some are supported by WMM and some aren't. MP3's also can occasionally cause problems. That wouldn't likely be your issue here but it's easy enough to test simply by removing the MP3 and seeing what happens. -Wojo "Jk4eva" <Jk4eva@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:368590B5-41D0-4F2C-9AE3-D21A838DF6EC@microsoft.com... > The song is an mp3.
