Default dvd burning of final MM project

Is there a way to burn a copy of your finished work onto a DVD? Doesn't seem
to matter how many ways I try, but the only playback I get on my copied CDR's
or DVD's (+/-) is through my computer drive. The DVD's will not play on the
dvd player. Anyone with any suggestions. Thanks for the help.

All these links require additional software such as MyDVD. Here is how you
can do it with free software.

google "AVI2DVD" and download the free software. Open your finished AVI
within AVI2DVD and follow the step 1-2-3 to create an ISO image. You can
burn the ISO image with whatever DVD burning software you have such as NERO
or Easy Media Creator. If you don't have these software, google "ImgBurn"
and download the free software again. Imgburn will burn the DVD for you.

Here is a great essay about what I just told but in greater detail,
http://www.newcyberian.com/howto/dvdauthoring.html . It gets kinda technical
though.

Good luck!
Chris

But remember that you get what you pay for.
This method works 100% perfectly until you decide to make this a hobby and
then want to create a decent DVD with menus and chapter points etc... then
you would be better served spending a few bucks on something worthwhile.

Thanks very much for your detailed paper on DVD. I'm sure It will be of great
interest, if I can understand it.''I have and have used(not with WMM!),an
installation unit for closures!!"(USB for win 98SE) 5.25 Series CDR3 - U",3.5
S..eries HD -D2_U2,2.5 S.. HD-D1-U2,HD D3-U2..............The software Disc
is called Nero Express. My questions are: might it be possible to use this
unit to burn my eventual(???????),film onto DVD. 2)If I cannot use the unit
and enter the software would it be possible to upgrafe the Nero Express to
enable me to burn to to either of the DVD drives on my Dell computer?

As you can gather my knowledge with this and WMM in oarticular is just above
Zero.......thanks for the essay which I shall try to educate myself with.

If by "Nero Express" you are referring to "Nero Vision Express" then yes
this is a DVD Authoring application and will burn your film onto DVD. If you
want alternatives there's a list of some of the most popular DVD Authoring
programs on my website in the "DVD Programs" section.
