Default VIDEO CONTROLE

On video control window I can't make appear the verification of "Time Line"
when I start it from the lower window, or just under the screen.
But I can easyly display the picture of a "cilp" choosen in upper middel
window.
Which could be the reason
Thanks
(sorry for my approximative english)

If I am right.

You can watch the video clip from the collections panel - upper middle - as
it is shown in the video preview moniotr - top right.
If you put this clip on the timeline, you cannot view it in the preview
monitor.

This may be due to an incompatible file type. Movie maker works best with
dv-avi adn wmv files, other types, such as mpeg, divx can often cause the
problems you have.

Additionnal infos about my video control problem:
- files type for photos are ".jpg"
- If I place "titles" on the linetime, they also don't appear on video
control
- If I place "music or songs" they are correctly read through audio and
loudspeakers.
If this can guide you
Many thanks (from France)

Try changing the jpeg files to bitmap, which tend to work much better in
movie maker. Irfanview is a good app for doing things like this, you can get
it from a link here
http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebP...lProgrammes.htm
unless you already have a photo editing programme.

Where has the pbm file come from? I've not come across it before adn my
searching shows it up as a intermediary file, not one in common use.
