Alright, I save movie as a .wmv. Everything goes perfect. But when i import a
brand new file that I create, and when I try to render it, i get an error message that says somthing like cannot find source! I did not modify the filename or folder. |

So if I understand you correctly you import the AVI into your collections
and drag it to the timeline. After editing you try to render it and that's when you get the error message? If so then try saving the file using different settings (such as "Video for pocket PC") and see if that works. I am not sure of the significance of the first part of your post about saving a WMV unless you are saying that you only have this problem AFTER saving a movie and starting a new project. -- Wojo's Place: http://wojos-web.tk Also Please visit..... http://www.remember-christopher.dos...om/christopher/ Dedicated in loving memory of our son Christopher Lee "LegoBrickFan" <LegoBrickFan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F4DED236-A424-4D0E-B7EA-CD0F97488808@microsoft.com... > it is a .avi file. > > "Wojo" wrote: > >> What type of file is it that your trying to import? >> >> "LegoBrickFan" <LegoBrickFan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:95AF4D4A-D6BB-41AE-B2DE-1F47D4372329@microsoft.com... >> > Alright, I save movie as a .wmv. What sort of avi file is it? dv-avi is the one that works, things like
divx/xvid don't. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "LegoBrickFan" <LegoBrickFan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CC3DE0D8-67D6-4719-B6CE-635E1A2657EA@microsoft.com... > Still won't work. > > "Wojo" wrote: > >> So if I understand you correctly you import the AVI into your collections >> and drag it to the timeline. >> After editing you try to render it and that's when you get the error >> message? >> If so then try saving the file using different settings (such as "Video >> for >> pocket PC") and see if that works. >> >> I am not sure of the significance of the first part of your post about >> saving a WMV unless you are saying that you only have this problem AFTER >> saving a movie and starting a new project. >> -- >> Wojo's Place: >> http://wojos-web.tk >> Also Please visit..... >> http://www.remember-christopher.dos...om/christopher/ >> Dedicated in loving memory of our son Christopher Lee >> >> >> "LegoBrickFan" <LegoBrickFan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:F4DED236-A424-4D0E-B7EA-CD0F97488808@microsoft.com... >> > it is a .avi file. >> > >> > "Wojo" wrote: >> > >> >> What type of file is it that your trying to import? >> >> >> >> "LegoBrickFan" <LegoBrickFan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in >> >> message >> >> news:95AF4D4A-D6BB-41AE-B2DE-1F47D4372329@microsoft.com... >> >> > Alright, I save movie as a .wmv.
