S-Video is just what it is called "video" to capture to movie maker you need
to connect via firewire or go through a digital pass-through device of some sort that connects to the computer with firewire. -- Wojo's Place: http://wojos-web.tk Also Please visit..... http://www.remember-christopher.dos...om/christopher/ Dedicated in loving memory of our son Christopher Lee "jj1933" <jj1933@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:086064D7-27D8-42F8-A390-F03C8607EFC9@microsoft.com... > Hi > Please help .New to video capture.I have installed a pci video capture > card.I have connected my j.v.c. Joe, I am having a similar problem.
I have connected my Sony Analog Camcorder CCD-TRV208E PAL Hi8 analog camcorder to my PC using Belkin F5U228ea device which I have installed. I am able to transfer images from my camcorder to Windows Movie Maker however I am not able to transfer the sound from my camcorder. There is nothing wrong with my sound setup as I can play Media Player. I'm at a complete loss. -- PTL "jj1933" wrote: > Hi > Please help .New to video capture.I have installed a pci video capture > card.I have connected my j.v.c. These devices are often painfull in use......
How have you connected the cam to the device adn how is the device connected to the pc. All my googling ends up with foreign language results which I can't understand, so an English link would be good ![]() -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Alleluia" <Alleluia@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1CB279A5-3DE0-4295-ADD7-CAE84E0E90C7@microsoft.com... > Joe, I am having a similar problem. > I have connected my Sony Analog Camcorder CCD-TRV208E PAL Hi8 analog > camcorder to my PC using Belkin F5U228ea device which I have installed. > I am able to transfer images from my camcorder to Windows Movie Maker > however I am not able to transfer the sound from my camcorder. > There is nothing wrong with my sound setup as I can play Media Player. > I'm at a complete loss. > > > -- > PTL > > > "jj1933" wrote: > >> Hi >> Please help .New to video capture.I have installed a pci video capture >> card.I have connected my j.v.c.
