Hi MrGrumpy
If you don't mind my asking, why do you want to overclock that Duron 800? Overclocking is not really something I'd recommend. ********************************************************** Sincerely, Gary Hendricks, Build-Your-Own-Computers.com The best PC hardware tutorials and how-to guides: http://www.build-your-own-computers.com/tutorials ********************************************************** |

Ok, I see. If you're looking for a better CPU, you may also want to
consider upgrading the RAM. The CPU and RAM are usually the culprits when it comes to slow performance. ********************************************************** Sincerely, Gary Hendricks, Build-Your-Own-Computers.com The best PC hardware tutorials and how-to guides: http://www.build-your-own-computers.com/tutorials ********************************************************** |

See the FAQ link in the left hand column here: http://www.myplc.com/sony/bios_f.htm AMD is stingy with the datasheets, and not all Mobile devices have publically available datasheets like this one: http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/con..._docs/24068.pdf I'm not at all sure about where in time this list of processors fits in. At least this list will give you some idea of the variety of processors available, and the need to ask a lot of questions before buying anything. This list was probably not meant for public consumption. http://web.archive.org/web/20021012...27/index3.shtml There are sample disassembly instructions on the site at the top as well, so you can see how involved the disassembly procedure is.
