Default Incoming connections via modem - number of rings


Hi everyone!
Does anyone know hot to set the number of rings before answering for
incoming network connection through modem on XP and on 2003 Server.

Check your modem manual. Modify modem initialization string.

This doesn't have anything to do with init string, it was working until
Windows 98, but on newer platform it doesn't work. The answer is in
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;EN-US;145879 and it should
be corrected in registry
