Default sysprep & udf

Hi,

I'm using sysprep along with an 3rd party imaging utility to reimage W2K
workstations. I'd like to distribute an image remotely with no manual
intervention at the workstation.

I've got the network boot and image load part working but not the part where
each workstation is made unique (like workstation name, for instance). In
other words, when the machine reboots the first time, I still have to
manually intervene to supply it with a name.

It is my understanding that sysprep.inf can only have one reference to a
computer name. If you want to image multiple machines with unique names you
have to supply a separate sysprep.inf on a floppy when the machine reboots
after being imaged.

That is fine for a relatively small environment I suppose but what if you
want to remotely image a large number of machines without manually having to
supply a floppy to each?

We are not using RIS ...

Thanks for your help!

Dan B.
