Hide IP address only wanted

Is there a freeware program that hides the users IP address without
doing anything else? I don't want my system taken over completely
just something to make me anon.

Everything I have chased on Google seems to be shareware/payware or a
very large program.

Something small and simple would be nice.

You don't need any software. Just surf through a free anonymous web
proxy, like
http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html

How's that for small and simple? :-)
