1) I have created a form for my customers to fill out and submit answers back
to me via email. This has always worked in the past but we recently changed hosts and it hasn't worked since. The form is there but when you hit submit, you get the following message at the url of http://www.precisionbuildings.com/_derived/nortbots.htm. The message is this: FrontPage Run-Time Component Page You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly. This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. According to the contol panel at the server, FrontPage extensions are installed. 2) simply typing in my domain does not work anymore. you only get the parent directory. example www.precisionbuildings.com takes you to the parent dirertory only. However, if you type www.precisionbuildings.com/index.htm it works. Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page. |

How did you move the site to the new host?
See if the following helps: Opening the form on the live/remote site in FP and making a minor change, and then save the form, then run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks. -- ============================================== Thomas A. Rowe (Microsoft MVP - FrontPage) ============================================== If you feel your current issue is a results of installing a Service Pack or security update, please contact Microsoft Product Support Services: http://support.microsoft.com If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a security update, then there is usually no charge for the call. ============================================== "Scott" <Scott@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4508BF62-0517-4A23-BBF4-B5710097D59E@microsoft.com... > 1) I have created a form for my customers to fill out and submit answers back > to me via email. I used an FTP program first but then published directly from FP. I will try
your suggestion now. Thanks. "Thomas A. If you used FTP, you need to repair / reinstall the extensions.

Since you used FTP, you corrupted the FP extensions and any component that requires them on the
live/remote site. The FP extensions will need to be re-installed by your web host, then you will need to publish via FP's http mode. -- ============================================== Thomas A.
